Performance of DTN Routing Protocols in Realistic Vehicle Scenarios

アブストラクト
  DTN routing is still a main challenge to increase the number of delivered messages, throughput, and/or energy efficiency. We conduct performance comparison and analysis on four typical DTN routing; Direct Oracle, Epidemic, MaxProp, and ProphetV2 in real world vehicular scenarios in terms of message delivery performance. Simulation results show although all scenario have almost same “bandwidth, long transmit range can improve significant number of total delivered messages especially in 0.1MB and 2MB message size has higher total of delivered message file size than 0.1 MB although it has created 1600 messages.
