アブストラクト
  A performance evaluation of Evolved UTRA and UTRAN (3.9G high-speed wireless packet access networks) with time-frequency scheduling is presented. We extensively investigate the TCP throughput of individual users under timefrequency scheduling for the shared downlink channel, by which not only the time-varying but also the frequency block-dependent wireless conditions of each user are considered. Typical two schemes, MaxCIR scheduler and Proportional Fair scheduler, are simply extended to time-frequency scheduling, and are evaluated through network simulations for greedy file download at various moving speeds. The results reveal the characteristics of using time-frequency scheduling in terms of TCP performance over Evolved UTRA and UTRAN.
